  • Asus M4A77TD Pro and Memory

Just purchased some memory to upgrade my computer. F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL for my M4A77TD pro and there is a problem that I am encountering. I put in the new memory and nothing happens. Screen stays blank even when I try to put one stick of memory in. I am just wondering if I purchased the wrong memory or am I doing something else wrong. My old memory works fine on my comp.

What CPU? Do you have the latest BIOS?

Try clearing the CMOS, then install one stick, then manually enter the memory timings & voltage.

If you can boot into Windows, shut it down, then install the second stick.
