    Hey all,

Recently upgraded my CPU to the Phenom II X6 1100T and have tried tweaking all kinds of settings and looking online for answers to get my ram to run at 2000mhz. Have not been successful.

Currently system is really stable at 4022mhz and 1600 on the ram. 7-7-7 22 32 1T

Has anyone had any success getting their ram to run at full advertised speed with an X6 processor? I haven't figured out how to enable XMP on this gigabyte board so haven't tried that or don't even know that you can with over 1600 speed. I have the ram in the slots farthest from the cpu.

The best I have gotten to run is 1600 - 1700 on the ram. System specs:

    Win 7 Ultimate x64
Corsair C300 256mb SSD (boot drive)
    F3-14400CL9D-4GFLS Ram
    HD 5970 + HD 5870 in Tri Cross-Fire

Latest motherboard drivers installed, running the latest non-beta bios F4. That's all I can think of atm. Really had to tweak voltages and stuff a lot to get things stable as is. I will post back with voltages I currently have set in bios. Some pictures attached. Oh, also, when I am doing a lot of rebooting / changing settings in bios I un-overclock my graphics cards to make it easier / eliminate one potential crash cause.

So yea, anyone running ram at 2000mhz on a Phenom II X6? What settings are you using, multiplier, fsb speed, cpu / nb / ram voltages etc. Thanks in advance.

Try setting your timings to 9-9-9-24 2T with 1.65 DRAM voltage, you are at 7-7-7-21 1T which is good for 1600 but won't come close for spec speed

Good to know, I had lowered timings after I got it running well at 1600

So I raised the timings to 9-9-9-24 2t and played with everything quite a bit, various combinations of NB and HT speeds and voltages with 16 multiplier and 250fsb to give me 4,000 on the cpu and 2,000 on the ram. Always fails at post and goes back to defaults.

To run at 4ghz 1600 stable I've been using the following:

      CPU NB 2600

      HT 2600

      CPU PLL - 2.54

DRAM have had to bump this up to 1.69-1.71 on both my phenom X4 and X6 get crashes with it at 1.65 or 1.67

      NB volt - 1.25

      HT - 1.22

      NB / PCIE - 1.82-1.84

      CPU NB VID - 1.27-1.3

      CPU - 1.425

Again, played with *** these quite a bit trying to find the right combination to at least get past post but no luck. Guess I don't know what the X6's like as compared to the X4's I learned to play with a bit.

        Maybe this will help...

These are the settings that I used when I ran my Flares@ 2000MHz with CL7 timings:

        4.014GHz (250 CPU Bus)>>>Passed HyperPI (2)
        CPU ratio: 16.0
        DRAM Frequency: 2000MHz (2007MHz)
        CPU/NB Frequency: 2750MHz (2759MHz)
        HT Link Speed: 2000MHz (2007MHz)
        CPU Voltage: 1.450000
        CPU/NB Voltage: 1.275000
        CPU VDDA Voltage: 2.525
        DRAM Voltage: 1.6625
        HT Voltage: 1.27500
        NB Voltage: 1.38750
        DRAM Timings: 7-9-7-24 (1T)

        CPU/NB Voltage OCP: Enable
        CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled
        PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled

Also, run the sticks in the outside slots (furthest away from the CPU).

Hey Nemesis, thanks for the reply. Tried for awhile with your settings as a base but still no luck. I was able to get it to boot into windows with a slightly faster fsb, around 210. Not sure what I'm missing.

Might try sticks w/ 2T Command Rate, 1T may be tight for your particular setup
