  • Have 2 bad sticks of ddr3?

memtest had both sticks fail in b1 slot. but they both passed in tests in a1 slot.

running on the one that had less errors and so far no problems.

error after 1 complete test with both sticks

    AMD Phenom II X6 1075T Thuban 3.0GHz Socket AM3 125W Six-Core Desktop Processor
ASUS M4A78T-E AM3 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard
    G.SKILL Flare 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1800 (PC3 14400) Desktop Memory Model F3-14400CL9D-4GBFLS
    Rosewill Green Series RG700-S12 700W Continuous @40?C,80 PLUS Certified,Single 12V Rail,Active PFC"Compatible with Core i7, i5" Power Supply PSU

    Sapphire 100287L Radeon HD 5670 Graphics Card - PCI Express 2.1 x16 - 512 MB GDDR5 SDRAM 2560 x 1600 - CrossFireX

took b1 out and ran a full test. a1 passed. removed a1 stick and ran b1 stick in a1 slot. it passed.

took b1 ran full test in b1slot it had 337 errors.

took a1 put it in b1 slot had 89 errors.

both in the #7 test range of memtest 86 v 4.10

not one problem so far without other stick

the last bsod info I got.

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (1e)
This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints
the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address
as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address.
    Arguments:
Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled
Arg2: 0000000000000000, The address that the exception occurred at
    Arg3: 0000000000000008, Parameter 0 of the exception
    Arg4: 0000000000000000, Parameter 1 of the exception

      running faster browsing it seems

one stick of ram and I maxed out the factory cpu spec which is 3.5 fro the cpu. if my ram ran right I can do 4050mhz.

Next would be to raise CPU/NB maybe .05 to start, then if it helps or stable can further adjust from there raise or lower at .01 increments

CPU-NB Voltage 1.4125 is high. You should lower this and work up from 1.20V. NB Voltage is suppose to be 1.10V, so that is fine.

              For CL8, you should try DDR3-1800 8-9-8-24 1.66V up to 1.70V.

              Thank you
