Memtest detected 2,000+ errors; how bad?

Just a simple question. I'm using G.Skill RipJaws and, using Memtest86+, I got over 2K errors.

How bad is this?

Are you using version 4.2? What CPU/mobo? Do you have the latest BIOS? Testing one stick at a time? Are sticks set to proper timings? CR at 2? proper DRAM Voltage?

Obviously 2K in errors isn't good but a number of things can have adverse effects to cause those errors.
