What memory do i need ?

Yes, they worked ok, just only wished G.Skill had done this the first time i RAM'd. I don't need these anymore i purchased the Crucial ram to replace them because i had to wait so long the first time and having to send the second set back.

sorry about that, DDR3 will still be around for a while, so maybe they can be used in your next build.

Yea i thought of that , but i spent close to $100 for the first two kits of F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT plus the shipping cost of RMAing and upgrade, having to purchase replacement ram that is working flawless buy the way, don't think i will get my money back. It looks like G.Skill has flooded the market with DDR3 memory by having the lowest prices and now on places like ebay and craigslist that is all you find and thay sell for nothing. I did think about sending them to my good friend "Tman" for all the help he gave me over the past years, i am sure he can put them to good use

Donations always can be used, I always try and keep extra sticks around for upgrades and replacements, my Mom has tons of folks in the retirement community she lives in that have computers and I do alot of repairs/upgrades out there gratis

I will give this a long thought, these Ripjaws do look very nice even though i do not care for the big red coolers, they did work well when i tried them out. I only bought 8gb of the other ram not wanting to run into the same compatibility issue as with G.Skill. I know 8gb is probably overkill as it is, but having 16gb of matched sticks just sitting might be blasphemy. I probably need to just suck up my pride and just get over it and thank G.Skill and you for all the super effort to please a grumpy old man

Family tradition, grew up around drivers and racing in Indianapolis area, my Dad raced Indy/USAC in the fifties, I raced sports cars, ex-brother in law was a crew chief and engine developer in Indy and F1, and have a nephew whose a crew Chief in American Le-Mans and has worked Indy cars, been following racing all my life

And have been mine, going back as long as I can remember, especially Indy cars, but back when my Dad drove everybody raced everything,USAC had the Indy series, stocks, sprint, midgets even Indy dirt cars

Just wanted to give an update, i desided to use the F3-10666CL9Q-16GBRL kit and keep the others as a backup just in case i started having problems. The ram is running great with no problems like before with the two F3-10600CL9D-8GBNT kits. Thanks again to Tman and G.Skill for making this happen
