Hello,
I've completed my build using the i7-970 processor and have installed the following G.SKILL SDRAM:
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model F3-10666CL9T-12GBRL

Into the ASUS Sabertooth X58 Motherboard (version 708 BIOS)
ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I have Windows 7 Professional 64 as the OS on an OCZ Vertex 2 SSD Drive. 3.5" 120 GB
I installed everything, applied power, went into the BIOS to check memory settings. The BIOS had set everything to "AUTO" and I noticed that the target DRAM frequency had been set at 1066 MHz instead of the rated 1333. I went to the DRAM frequency option and changed it to 1333. I booted into windows 7 and my system reports only 8 gb memory. I then changed it back to "AUTO". The ASUS board reports the following timings. Can someone confirm these are correct?
Here are the numbers for 1st Information
9-9-9-24-4-107-10-7-20-0
2nd Information
1N-47-0-50
3rd Information
5-5-16-10-10-11-7-6-4-7-7-4
Also, I'd really like to run a testing program on the memory to make sure it is healthy. Can someone recommend a free utility I could run on my memory?
