  • Which G.Skill DDR3 8GB(2x4GB) Ripjaws X for Video Editing

Looking to get 2x4gB Ripjaws X Series for 1050/50p video editing to run with i7-2600K Sandy Bridge on Motherboard Asus P867.Any suggestions to the below kits or other recommendations. I am not not a pro just need for home editing. I found on http://www.bit-tech.net/hardware/m [...] -bridge/12 (in conclusions sections) that CL8 kits had some advantage only in video encoding tests but probably not very noticeable by me.

Of the two the XM is a bit more performance oriented than the XL, there's also a XH model that is even a bit more performance centric

Time for the quiz - WHY? .....and the answer is XL - Low XM - Mid range XH - High
