Add New RAM and Problems - Help

I pulled my existing kit which has been running stable and replaced it with the new kit. Although memtest did not show any errors, the system was unstable. No blue screens, but it would hang and freeze. My apps would also crash.

Putting the original kit back in eliminated all issues, (both are identical kits) and a return to stability.

G.SKILL ECO Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO.

So I suspect there may be an issue with the new kit.....

I had the RAM replaced with a different set. All is well now. No more issues. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
