  • Asus P8H67M EVO won't post with F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL

I have a new ASUS P8H67-M EVO with a new Core i5 2500 CPU and 2x2GB sticks of F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL memory. I can't get the motherboard to post. Pushed Mem OK button and memory LED would flash slowly and then faster and eventually stay on solid, indicating there was a problem with the memory. Tried one stick at a time in slot A1 and slot A2. Tried clear CMOS. Can't get past the memory error. This memory is on ASUS's QVL for this motherboard. Is this memory compatible with this motherboard? Has anyone been able to make this work?

Have your tried reseating the sticks firmly, also checking and reseating the CPU? Have seen a few instances of thermal compound seeping over the edges of the CPU. Then try 1 stick at a time and if get post run memtest on each stick individually.....1333 sticks should be plug and play

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Try a new kit, or it may be a bad motherboard.

      Thank you
