memory compatabilty w/ ASUS Rampage III Formula

I am in the process of a new build.

Specs:
Asus Rampage III Formula MOBO
12 GB G.Skill F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI 2GBx3 DDR3-1600
CPU: i7-950

I have discovered that this memory is not listed on the ASUS (QVL) for this MOBO. Actually, very few tri channel 1600 products are listed at all. I made my purchase of memory based on postings, on various sites, where owners were stating that they had good experiences with this configuration, including one post claiming that 12 Gigs 7-8-7-24-1T @ 1.51 volts is easy in the Rampage III using bios 505.

Before opening the packaging and dashing any chance of an RMA, can anyone confirm that I am good to go with this configuration?
