Is GSkill Ripjaws F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL compatible with X58 Motherboard

I have bought this memory F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL before I noticed that it is specifically designed for Intel Sandybridge CPUs and P67 motherboards, however I've already bought a motherboard for my i7-950 CPU. I don't know if they are compatible...

The motherboard is ASUS Sabertooth X58 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
