    Hello, really needed in your words of advice and opinion on the following issue...

    On system load, on "verifying DMI Pool Data" phase, I'm recieving an error "recovering lost DRAM size". Restarting several times until the system eventually loads.

    Only 8.387 GB are usable. Bios ver. FC.

    Sounds like could be a few things, do you have the latest BIOS? want to ensure the CPU is seated well and no excess thermal compound is on edges. All sticks seated well? (Might want to pull all, clean contacts and firmly reseat. If none of that helps, could go into msconfig and go to Boot advanced-options and uncheck Maximum Memory field and/or run memtest on each stick individually, these are the most common causes I've run into

      Thanks a lot, RamJam... it was a case of an axcess thermal compound on the CPU...
