  • ASUS P6X58D Premium and G Skill F3-12800CL9-2GBNQ

    My system is ;

    CPU i7 920
    Mainboard asus p6x58D premium
    RAM G Skill F3-12800CL9-2GBNQ 3 x 2G
    VGA Asus Ati 5750

    I overclocked I920 to 3.8G ( x20.0 and 189.9Mhz), but I could not make ram to 800Mhz - now 759.7Mhz.

    Please let me know how to make my ram to run at 800Mhz.
    If possible please explain it easy words.

    Best regards,

    That's normal, I wouldn't worry about it. If you look at cpu-z screenshots taken by other people with that motherboard you will see similar Bclk readings(you memory speed is directly related).

      Command Rate is at 1, might be holding speed down a bit, can try 2

      Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

        BCLK 200 x 10 does not work? You may need to raise QPI.

        BCLK 160 x 10, 133 x 12, should all work fine. The BCLK and multiplier must be correct to reach DDR3-1600. Obivously with BCLK 190, your options are DDR3-1520, DDR3-1900, and so on..

        Thank you

          After upgrade 200 x 20, I can get cpu speed 4G, but I could not boot windows 7 with ram speed 1603Mhz.

              Thanks for your kind attention.

              After bios upgrade to 1301, the problem was fixed.
