Bad Ram?

    I know it's been a while but I recently bought another kit of ram identical to what I've been using except it has a slightly different heat sink (RipjawsX). To summarize what I've discovered is that all of the problems I've had so far completely disappeared since removing the old ram and putting in the new sticks. Now that I have spare ram to keep my computer running, I guess I'll go ahead and RMA the old ones.

    Learning the correct bios settings from the earlier discussion in this thread helped me setup the new ram. So, thanks again for the help.

      The mobo may like the setup of the new sticks better, it will be a different SPD

        Yeah, the RipjawsX are great, just recently purchased two different sets myself.
