  • Memory setting suggestion F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI

    Hi, I recently bought the F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI
    PI series memory, and am experiencing some instability problems after overclocking my Asus Rampage 3 Formula MB's i7-950 CPU. My current settings for CPU overclocking are

    Cpu= 20x200
    Dram=1600
    uncore=3200
    qpiFreq=7200

    Cpu V= 1.325v
    QpiV= 1.35v
    PLL= auto.
    DramV= 1.65v
    LLC= Full calibration
    IOH= 1.166v

    Cpu and Pci Spread=Disable
    C1E and EIST= Disable

    Is this a good setting? I can boot into windows 7, but after some time, I would get the BSOD. Also could you suggest a good timing and DRAM settings in general? thanks.

    DRAM voltage should be at 1.5, so the instability could in part be from overvolting to 1.65. Timings at 1600 should be 7-8-7-24, with command rate (CR) at 2N.

    Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

      QPI Voltage may also be too high. Test for the stable voltage.
