F3-16000CL6T-6GBPID settings for the Rampage III Formula

I was wondering if anyone know what settings need to be entered in the bios to get this ram running at the rated speed and timings (2000 6-9-6-24)? The insert the ram came with only says the read pre timing needs to be set to 7 however none of the other 50 settings are mentioned.

You've got the base timings OK, what CPU and Speed are you running. May need to make some voltage/speed adjustments to hit 2000 depending on CPU

I found a setting called XMP (extreme mem profile) that pulls the correct settings from the ram for all the voltages but now my problem is heat. CPU shot up to 120 F at idle from the 90's.

My memory at idle has 33.4?C

That is correct, high performance memory will raise CPU temps. An aftermarket CPU cooler is recommended. Make sure CPU temp does not reach above 80 degrees C under full load.
