  • Compatible RAM for Asus P7P55D-LE

    Hello!

I've just purchased an Asus P7P55D-LE motherboard for an Intel i5-760 (2.8GHz) CPU.
I'm now looking for compatible and efficient RAM (dual channel kit of 2x2Gb).

Thus I've performed some research and found the following G.Skill products that sound very interesting:
    - F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH (defined as compatible by G.Skill)
    - F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL (defined as compatible by G.Skill)
    - F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM (NOT defined as compatible by G.Skill)

Unfortunately, according to ASUS documentation (memory Qualified Vendor List), none of these G.Skill products can be used on the P7P55D-LE.

That's why I would like to know if these products are working fine and without any trouble on the motherboard. Does anybody have the same configuration ?

If they can be used on a P7P55D-LE, which one would be the best choice ?

    Thanks !

Any of the three should work, for a $2 difference (at the Egg) I'd go with the 1600s.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

^^ What he said. They are perfectly compatible, just enable XMP Profile under AI Overclock Tuner and everything is ready to go!

        ok, thanks for your answers.

Actually, I ordered the F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH version (as they were clearly defined as compatible by G.Skill on the web site).

I'll let you know the result as soon as I receive the RAM.

        Thanks!

Just to let you know, that the RAM was successfully recognized by the system.
I enabled also the XMP profile and everything is going well so far.

It's working fine and above all it's working fast !

          Thanks again
