might be worth creeping up to 400. e.g. 325, 350, 375 and see at what speed they tap out

5-5-5-15 is nuts :O i must have been on crack or something when i did this but quoted from another forum:-
"played bfbc2 all night then a bsod in the last round ( 0x00000124 ) made me reset back to 4ghz.. then had a giggle and with the 4ghz settings clicked pci up to 102 and set ram at 5-7-5-16 @ 1583mhz, not only did it boot but pulled 22023 on 3dmark before bsod ( ram timings )"
..... but for stability look for the loosest spd timings or just set the timing section to auto.

btw i am no expert, i'm on here for the same reason you are, can't get my p45t to run ram at 1600mhz happily.

:edit: highest boot at 380fsb 333strap 4.00B, 1.4NB, 1.76Dram.. corrupted my desktop - reboot in stock settings desktop recovered

To go over 1333 you may have to loosen the timings and possibly add voltage

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Help in figuring out a GA-P43T-ES3G overclock settings

        --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

        Ok, here's what I have:
        Intel Quad Core Q9400 2.6GHZ
        Gigabyte mobo GA-P43T-ES3G
        G. Skill F3-10666 ram 4 ram sticks X 4 = 16 gb
        Zalman CPNS9500 AT2 CPU cooler
ATI Radeon HD 5770 video card
        600 W PSU
        Windows 7 pro 64 bit

I have gotten my CPU overclocked stable at 3.4 GHZ with:
CPU Multiplier 8.5 (.5 from fine tuning) 1.275 Vcore in Bios (1.232 shown in CPU-Z)
        FSB 400 MHZ,PCI 100 MHZ, MCH 400, 3:5 FSB/DRAM, SPD 3.33D, stock timing 9-9-9-25 108 2T and voltage, Prime95 runs 64 degrees after 10 minutes...

anything above this and it's unstable no matter what I try. I've upped the Vcore to 1.320v, NB to 1.4 and DRAM to 1.6 with no luck. it won't even post.

I have been able to get FSB 415 MHZ to work if I turn down the DRAM speed to 333 with 3.2B SPD. Any ideas on how I can keep this cpu clock speed and get my ram up to 666? No matter what the CPU is, if the Ram is set above 1333 then it won't post. Tradesman said to loosen the timing, but I'm not sure what that means..lol

        thanks for the help!

Post some pictures of BIOS, you shoud be able to OC more with 3.33D.

          Thank you

Try raising the vCore, maybe start at 1.3

Ok. i'll get some bios data for you tomorrow. I did raise the Vcore up to 1.3200v, the NB to 1.4v and the DRAM to 1.6v without any luck with a 420 MHZ cpu frequency.

based on my own recent experience and your motherboard also being a p45 board......

-= NOT A RECOMMENDATION AS YOU MAY DAMAGE SOMETHING =-
i couldn't get over 1600mhz ram speed until i threw 1.86V in the vdram.

                .: recommendation :.
stay under 1600mhz ram speed and tighten the timings and leave dram volts alone

I'm not sure what you mean by tighten the timing..

Look at the spd of your ram and see what settings are used on say 533mhz and see if it will work at 667mhz for instance i'm pretty sure my gskill's have go as low as 6-7-6-18 can't remember 100% if I have gone lower too many different settings lol

I've got the F3-10666-8GBSR memory sticks that are stock at 1333, 9-9-9-24-2T 1.5V i think. I'm not sure where to find the other speed settings though.

memset or cpuz have tabs that show your rams SPD
