Hi
My current system is:
Crosshair IV
Amd 1090t (stock speed 3.2GHz)
F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD GSKill Trident 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-16000 2000MHz (9-9-9-27)
And a corsair hydro H-50 cooler,
I have successfully got my system running at 1600MHz stable - current stable config:
Ram speed: 1600MHz
Ram timings: (7-7-7-21-1T)
DRAM Voltage: Auto 1.66v
cpu multiplier: x20.5
fsb: 200
CPU frequency: 4100MHz
CPU Voltage: Actual 1.42v (Keyed in value 1.405v)
CPU/NB: Auto (1.171v)
I have ran prime95 for a few hours and it is completely stable. I did have it running stable at 4.2ghz using a multiplier of x21 and cpu voltage 1.5v but with my case closed temps were getting too high (and it shut down) - so I had to reduce the clock a bit.
I then tried running at the ram at
Ram speed: 1866MHz
Ram timings: (9-9-9-27-2T)
DRAM Voltage: 1.6v
cpu multiplier: x13.5
fsb: 233
CPU frequency: 3145MHz
CPU Voltage: actual 1.37v
CPU/NB: Auto (1.158v)
Everything else is set to auto
And it is unstable - I have increased the cpu voltage all the way up to 1.5v and it still remains unstable. I have tried increasing the CPU/NB by 0.1v and it still remains unstable (following advice given on previous support topics).
Im unsure what to try next
- do you have any ideas what to try now?
When trying 2000mhz the computer is very unstable (actually the stress test doesnt get to reach 50% cpu utilization before errors occur).
I have also enable cpu load-line calibration and cpu/nb load-line calibration
Thanks Sammy,
Ps. If you need any more info please ask and I will post it here
