  • F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ 1600 Problem solved

    Hello all,

i just got random Blue Screens freezes on Windows 7 64bit when using the default Timings 9-9-9-24 2T 1,5Volt.

    Mainboard Asus M4A79XTD EVO
CPU Phenom X4 965 Black Edition C3 Stepping.
    8GB Memory (2 x 4GB Kits)

The System is now running stable with Memeory using clocks as followed:

    7-8-8-19 1T 1067Mhz
    8-8-8-22 or 24 1T 1333Mhz

When switching back to 1600 Mhz i still got Bluescreens.

So it seems to be that the CPU is causing Problems when using more then 1333Mhz @ Memory Modules.

Hope this will Hep out other Members to solve there Problems.

If anyone using 1333Mhz it will be nice when you should Post your Timings so i can test out the best Performance.

    Greetings Markus

I'm surprised you're having issues with the C3 965 @ 1600. Which BIOS are you running on the EVO?

The latest Bios 0901 and no Chance to get the System stable @ 1600Mhz i tried it over weeks

Now the System runs stable and im glad that i have not to reinstall Windows again because the system crahes so many times (the most times after Cold Start) ............... thats crazy.

        Greetings Markus
