Unfortunately I have no idea how to change memory settings on my motherboard and i couldn't find a guide for my motherboard on the stickies here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Right now you have XMP turned on so it's setting the timings, et al. If it's stable and running well, I'd leave it as is, but if you want to tweak it any or try to pick up on performance, a manual would be handy...heres the main page for your mobo, you can download the manual, check specs, etc

Thanks, i wasn't sure if something was wrong with it or if i bought a faulty product. Nothing's wrong with it so i think i'll leave it as is.

Sounds good, enjoy, if any problems get back to us. Have a good weekend.

Actually, is the manual the only thing i'll need to set my ram to full speed, or are you able to guide me through it?

[Edit] Just read the manual and the terms such as XMP and SPD don't really make much sense, is there a guide on the net on how to set the settings?

Primarily, if you want to tinker, you'll want to turn XMP off, set your base timings, DRAM Voltage and Command RATE manually, then if you have problems, get back to us, GSkill folks are here Mon-Fri during the day, and sometimes pop in in the evenings and on weekends, I normally check in early AM (5-5:30 or so), then tend to semi-monitor the these forums (along with a couple of others) most evenings till around midnight.

Someone advised me the following would work:

              1) Go into bios and go into MB Intelligent Tweaker (M.I.T.)
              2) Check that your BCLK Frequency (MHz) is 133 (this is the default)

              Easy way:
              3) Set Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.) to Profile 1.
              4) Save and reboot.

              Manual way:
              3) Set System Memory Multiplier from Auto to 6. The Memory Frequency (MHz) just below it should say 1600 instead of 1333 when it was in Auto.
              4) Go into Advanced Memory Settings and set the timing settings to CAS latency time 9, tRCD 9, tRP 9, tRAS 25 and voltage to 1.50, 1.55 or 1.60V depending on stability.

Try the easy way first. If it doesn't boot properly, then use the CLR_CMOS jumper that is shown on page 7 and instructions for use on page 30.

So i tried it and got this.

The report is correct, so as long your system is stable, everything should be fine.

                Thank you
