ok got ram installed it and just leaving it at 1424 for the moment to check for stability etc.. I checked and iam at 333 and a 320b latch wich gives me 1424 now my next latch is 400b wich takes me way up to 1780 for my ram, do you think that it should be ab;e to run at that? I will try tommorow but just wanted to see what ya think

ok trid my ram at 1780 and it would not boot,, i had it set to 7,8,7,24,80, can i loosen up the timmings? lets say to 8,8,8,22,31? or what do you suggest i try to get it so it will boot up at that speed? or is 1780 just too high for this ram

              8-8-8-24

The RAM is rated at DDR3-1600 7-8-7-24, so of course DDR3-1780 will need looser timings.

              Thank you

ok iam haveing a problem now IAM getting random bluescreens and iam at 1424 mhz, 7,8,7,24 I ran memory diag on windows 7 and it sayd that I have memory errors, It does this with 4 gig or 8 gig, I swapped out the two new ones alone in there and still gives errors, i left the older 2 gig sticks in alone and same thing errors, so i cant see both sets haveing probs with them should i up the voltage to 1.7? iam at 1.66 now what else could it be as iam sure all 8 gig of my ram is no good. could ive hurt them by trying to run the at 1780 at 7,8,7,24 settings? i realy dont think so but thought id ask

OK i upped the voltage to 1.68 and ram windows memn test and it all passed perfect, so i guess my board needs more voltage to run these higher mhz ram
i might need to go to 1.7 if i want to take them higher as well loosen the timmings like you suggested
