What Memory for AM3??

F3-16000CL9T-3GBPI-B is not for AM3, but X58 triple channel platform
and we don't think it's possible to run DDR3 2000 on AM3 platform now
you may choose other DDR3 1600 products like F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ/RL

Okay did like a fool and ended up "accidently" buying 2 sets of F3-12800CL7D-2GBPI. Also pays to read the whole description as I thought I was buying 2 x 2GB but ended up with 4 x 1GB.

Again it will be used with either a Pii X2 555BE or X4 955BE but hadn't expected 4 x 1BG. Anything different about doing overclocking with 4 x 1 vs 2 x 1?

4 modules will require more memory controller voltage since it needs to operate twice the amount of modules.
