  • How to set 2000MHZ with F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD

    Hi,

    I have the G.SKILL Trident 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2000
    (PC3 16000) F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD memory and:

    I7 860 2.8 Ghz
    ASUS P7P55D EVO LGA 1156 Intel P55
    Windows 7 64b

and having a problem to set up the 2000MHZ frequency in BIOS.

    I have the BIOS 7/28/09 0209 MBEC-0027

I am able to set it up to maximum 1600. I tried to follow your
settings for i7 (see below), however my computer restarts during
    loading the windows.

    Please advise,
    Remigiusz Zuber

    Default F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH + ASUS P7P55D BIOS settings
Here are the settings for the G.Skill F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH + ASUS P7P55D
    motherboards

We tested this motherboard at DDR3-2000 with 8GB at rated specs
without any issues. Went up to 2100 without any issues either.

Was able to get DDR3-2350+ with a different memory package

These tests were done on the Deluxe version with an i7 860 processor
    (x 12 memory multiplier).

Make sure you have the latest BIOS. Enable XMP Profile in "Ai Overclock Tuner" and everything should be fine.
