  • F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH running at 1.6 Volts?

I have a Phenom II X4 955. My motherboard is a Gigabyte GA-MA785GMT-UD2H. I installed 4 GB of G.SKILL Ripjaws Series DDR3 1333MHz (F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH). I noticed that the RAM is running at 1.6 Volts as opposed to 1.5 Volts, the motherboard is doing this automatically, and I can't lower the voltage used. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and will it cause any future problems? I don't want to mess up the CPU's memory controller.

    Thanks!

That, I believe is the min. ram volage on the board, and is less than 10% voltage increase, which shouldn't? (I am asking for the ranges myself) damage the RAM, nor the IMC on the cpu.

However, 4 dimms if you have a C2 revision of that cpu would go all tits up potentially.

PS. I am not familiar with the mobo so take this with a pinch of salt.

It may be the minimum for the board, should prob check w/ GB, may also look and see if there is a BIOS update, as to the 1.6, that is safe for the sticks

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
