F3-12800CL9Q-8GBECO + Asus Crosshair III Formula AM3

I recently put together my first computer and I want to know if I made a mistake picking memory. I havent powered it up yet. I would like any information that I might need with this setup.

- AMD Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition
- Asus CrossHair III Formula Motherboard 790FX/SB750
- G.skill 8Gb DDR3 1600 Ram #F3-12800CL9Q-8GBECO
- Microsoft 7 Professional 64-bit
- Rosewill Xtreme 950w Power Supply
- Western Digital Caviar black 1TB 7200rpm
- Radeon HD 4890 1GB 256-bit Video Card


If anyone has ran a similar setup and ran into issues please let me know.

I'd suggest powering up with just two sticks at first and get that stable then add the other two after stabilized

Ok thanks. What settings should I use? 9-9-9-24-2n?
