I'd answer if I could, but thought I'd let you know GSkill might be in over the weekend, but are normally off, so you may not get a reply till Monday.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

The Perfect Storm series does use Elpida based IC chips.

              What

Which Perfect Storm PC-16000 had it elpida IC issue? CL7 CL8 CL9 series?

Are air coolers essentials for 2000mhz running? Or Can it run without aircoolers at 2000mhz without problems?

              Thank you

CL7 had the major issue, which is why they are all discontinued.

With a good heatsink, DDR3-2000 will be fairly cool since new technology allows memory to operate at a low voltage.

                Thank you
