RipJaws F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL and 770 Chipset

Hi,

I'm interessted in the F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL RAMs, but in the specification list is nothing about the 770 chipset.
Is there no chance to get this RAM work on a Board with 770 chipset?

I hope someone can answer my question.

That memory package will be compatible, but depending on your processor, it may have a tough time operating DDR3-1600. You will need to tune memory settings.

The CPU will be a Phenom II 955BE, when 1600 didn't work, I think 1333 with a lower latency should be possible. For that good price of the RAMs i have to buy it :-)

To hit 1600 you'll need a fair OC and voltage adjustments, but with those sticks you could run at 1333 and prob drop the CL to at least 8 and probably 7, which at CL7 and 1333, will probably outperform the 1600 speed at CL9
