  • ASRock X58 Extreme + F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD

Model of the motherboard: ASRock X58 Extreme (Bios 1.60)
Model of the memory: Trident 6GB (F3-16000CL9T-6GBTD)
Model of the CPU: Intel Core 7 i920

Hi. The memory is not stable at DDR3-2000.

Boots into windows 7-64bit and crashes within 2 mins of Prime95 stability test.

    Settings:
    CPU Speed: 2667Mhz
    CPU Ratio Setting: 16x
    BCLK: 167
    Intel Speedstep - Disabled
All voltages auto except Dvimm Voltage: 1.654v
    Mem setting: 9,9,9,24,2T

Memory works fine at DDR3-1800 using below setting (Tested Prime95 for 3hrs+)
    CPU Speed: 3700Mhz
    CPU Ratio Setting: 20x
    BCLK: 185
    Intel Speedstep - Disabled
All voltages auto except Dvimm Voltage: 1.654v
    Mem setting: 9,9,9,24,2T

    Anything speed above 1800 crashes..

    Any recommendation bios setting?

Has anyone successfully and stably run DDR3-2000 speed on X58 motherboard?

Appreciate if someone can show me the light! Thanks!

Do you have the latest BIOS? Try different multipliers to see if it will have a difference. Some motherboard/CPU combinations only like certain multipliers. Try 143 BCLK. Let me know how that goes.

    Thank you

Might need to raise vCore and tRFC, or one or the other

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
