  • Settings for F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL and GA P55-UD3

When I got this computer with 2 sticks, I had a stable machine. But recently I bought 2 additionnal sticks, increasing to 8gb. I could use the computer during few days before having BSODs, then when I go back to 2 sticks there is no problem anymore.
I have run memtest during couple of hours without having any problems.

How should I configure the bios to get a stable computer?

Model of the motherboard: GA P55-UD3 (bios version : f4l)
Model of the memory: F3-10666CL9D-4GBRL (4*2Go)
Model of the CPU: intel i5 750

With the extra sticks you'll have to raise your tRFC to around 195 (if in NS, if in clicks may need to go about 88)

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

After raise my tRFC to around 88, I could use without any problems my comp during few days until now. I had 2 BSODs type Memory_management and PFN_List_Corrupt and froze twice on windows, unable to do anything but reboot manually.
      How could I fix that?

Raise your vCore just a hair (maybe .05), and drop tRFC to 86

Tested yesterday (european time) without any problem but today had a BSOD on the first boot of the day, after shutting the computer off during around 15 hours.
          How can I fix it?

please try to raise the cpu vtt voltage a little to 1.3v
the loading of memory controller is much heavier while running with 4 sticks installed, so you may need to raise the voltage to the memory controller to improve the stability
            thanks

During few days, I just used 2 sticks (waiting for a more mature bios to use the 4 sticks) but even with two I had BSODs today type Memory_manager with both default(auto) or custom BIOS settings.
I don't know what to do now, memtest gave me no error.

                  Hello Mr Administrator,
I got the same motherboard, CPU and RAM, but just 2 sticks.
Should i use the same settings you recommend, even if i got 2 sticks?
                  Thank you

Use the same settings, except you will not need to change the QPI Voltage. Once everything is set, your computer should be running smoothly.

                      Thank you

my pc seemed ok, but it wasn't !
Sorry it was too early for talk.

Nevertheless wth the settings you provide and F5 bios, it really seems better. We will see in a few days.

I didn t change CPU Multi Threading and Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P) settings, because i didn t find them in F5 bios.

                          Thank you

After being shut down during 1 hour my pc could reboot without problem.
After a whole night, he cant.

May I have others settigns to fix this problem?

                            Thank you

we don't think it could be solved by some setting
would you like to try one stick at one time?
                              thanks
