    Hi!

My Asus Maximus Extreme motherboard stay blocked on "det ram" everytime i try to reboot... I have to shut down the computer and then turn it on my self if i need to reboot system...
The [ Ripjaws] F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM timing is setup on 9-9-9-24- in bios..

    Can somebody help me please?

Thanks for your help and sorry for my english!

Have you run memtest on each stick individually to make sure they are good? If both good, put them in slots 1-3 (blue ones). Set your timings manually 8-8-8-24, Command Rate 2T, DRAM Voltage 1.6 (and check tRFC in Advanced will probably want 64 or so to start. Also, since 1600 is an OC speed, you'll prob want to OC the CPU some, might raise the FSB to 400 and drop the CPU mulitiplier by .5.....or set the RAM speed to 1333....if you go this route can probably tighten the timings down to 7-7-7-21 or 7-8-8-24

I have put timing on 8-8-8-24, command rate on 2T , cpu fsb on 400, multiplier was 09.5 or something like that, but didn't find where to put dram voltage on 1.6... I had the same error "det dram" when i tried to reboot...... I would like to make it run at 1600mhz so i didn't try to put the ram speed on 1333... what can i do?

          Just ran a memtest 86 v4.0:

          At third pass:

          Failing Adress

          0004303fd90 1072.2MB

          0004703fd70 1136.2MB

          Good/Bad

          ffffdfff/dffffdfff

          ffffdfff/dffffdfff

          Error

          20000000

          20000000

          Count

          1

          2

What does that mean? Should i get my sticks changed? Considering that under memtest my ram was apprently running at 800mhz

i tried those settings again and it worked, i have no more "det dram" problems for the moment but my CPU is running at 3.16ghz..instead of 3.33ghz... What settings are appropriate to overclock my cpu a little bit or just make it run at normal frequency please?

              LoL...

I'm really sorry RamJam, i have made a mistake on the DDR model in the all thread... I've got the [ Ripjaws ] F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL not F3-12800CL8D-4GBRM... My bad...

So, can we start over and would you please forget my stupidity to help me set up my bios correctly please? The CPU is running at 3.16ghz instead of 3.33 and in everest the dram frequency is 800mhz...

DRAM Frequency should be 800MHz, that is DDR3-1600 since DDR is double data rate. In order to increase your CPU frequency, simply raise the CPU Multiplier, or increase the CPU Host Frequency.

                Thank you

If you try what GSkill suggested, let us know the results, think it will work w/ the settings you put in, if not we'll make adjustments and get you running prime time

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
