  • P7P55D LE vs Ripjaws

Well hello there, I've had this problems in like a month or something now and I cant find any good answer.

    Motherboard: Asus P7P55D LE
    CPU: Intel core i5 750
    RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 4GB DDR3 Kit (2x2GB) PC310666 1333MHz 7-7-7-21 CL7 (F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH)

Everytime I boot my computer I gotta hit the MemOK button on the MB.
If not, the pc will get a bluescreen and repeat itself over and over.
The one thing that works is if I put the computer into sleep mode after hitting the MemOK button.
And the red light on the MB always lights, not blinking. Following the manual it's the memory light or something, I dont know.

    Anyone got any thoughts?

Is the blue screen you getting an IRQL Not less than or equal to error?
Are you getting memtest errors after a cold boot?
I seem to have the same problems with my F3-12800CL7D-4GBRH DDR3-1600 on the P7P55D with an I5 750.

Well, havent noticed about IRQL Not less than or equal to error, but I do get a bluescreen.
Havent tried memtest yet, but I dont believe its the ram, but the bios settings that have to be configured...

If everything is at auto, you probably aren't getting an accurate read on the RAM, so you'll want to manually input your base timings of 7-7-7-21, your DRAM voltage to 1.5, and your Command RATE to 2T (and when doing so check and see what your tRFC is.

Then go ahead and boot and see what happens, if any problem, get back to me.

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Try these settings. If they don't work, try testing each stick individually. You may have a bad stick if the mem light continue to stay on.

                AI Overclock Tuner - Manual
                CPU Ratio Setting - 20.0 for 2.66GHz
                BCLK Frequency - 133
                DRAM Frequency - DDR3-1333MHz

                DRAM Voltage - 1.50V

                DRAM Timing Control (submenu)
                CAS Latency - 7
RAS to CAS Delay - 7
                RAS PRE Time - 7
                RAS ACT Time - 21

                DRAM Timing Mode - 2N
                All others can be AUTO

Keep us posted on the results.

                Thank you

Hello, sorry for the late respons.
I've tried the setup from the last post here, but without luck.
The led is red if I use both, or just one of them.
So anyone know anything more I could try?

we thought you got either defective memory or motherboard
so you may need to RMA the memory or motherboard
                            thanks

                              Hi,

same problem here! I've got exactly the same hardware and exactly the same issues! I updated the bios version with Asus EZ flash 2 to the latest version and I used the settings prosted by the technical support in this thread. I think it's working for me now, but I will keep you informed! Excuse my bad English, I'm from Germany
