  • cannot get ripjaws F3-16000CL9D-4GBRH - Retail to stock

My board is the MSI 790fx-gd70, proc is the 955 deneb. In the bios with it set to auto it clocks my ram to 9-11-11-29, anything lower on the timings and it becomes unstable. Pls help!

What's tRFC and what's command rate? prob want tRFC about 127 (NS) or 68 if not NS, command rate 2T, the manually set your base timings and voltage to spec

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

Sorry, but what does ns and not ns mean? And what tRFC do you mean? There are like 10 places that say trfc in the bios, like trfc0, trfc1, trfc2 and so on. Also, in none of them do I see an option to go to 127. Thanks for the help!

Do you have the latest BIOS? You will need to start from 1600, then work your way up to find the stable speed, then tighten the timings. AMD platforms will have a difficult time running DDR3-2000 hence the reason why that memory package is only for Intel platforms.

        Thank you
