  • Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P and G.skill F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM unstable

Model of the motherboard: Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P
    Model of the memory: F3-10666CL8D-4GBRM
Model of the CPU: AMD Athlon II X4 620

After searching the forums and trying all the answers I found, I cannot get my system to run stable at all. After 5-10min it will just lock up and I will have to reboot, this happens on both the auto and manual settings that I have found here.

As a sample this is the auto settings:

    Memory Clock: x6.66 1333Mhz
    Unganged
    CAS 9t
    RAS 9t
    Row Pre 9t
    Min RAS 21t
    1t/2t auto
    TwTr 5t
    Trfc0,1 110ns
    Write Rec 10t
    Precharge 5t
    Row Cyc 33t
    RAS to RAS 4t

In manual the most stable I have found is

    Memory Clock: x6.66 1333Mhz
    Unganged
    CAS 8t
    RAS 8t
    Row Pre 8t
    Min RAS 21t
    1t/2t 1t
    TwTr 5t
    Trfc0,1 160ns
    Write Rec 10t
    Precharge 5t
    Row Cyc 34t
    RAS to RAS 4t

    DRAM voltage 1.65v
    DDR VTT 1.1v
    NB Voltage 1.2v
    SB/HT 1.4v

I updated the BIOS to the latest revision.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try 1T/2T - 2T, otherwise everything else looks good. What problems do you have?

the change from 1t to 2t did not work. The machine still locks up after 10minutes and I have to reboot it. The lockup normally occurs when I am doing anything that involves graphics. I know it is not the video card (Nvidia 8800GTS) because I tried a second card in this system and the 1st card in another system. I did reset it to Auto across the board and I did get 2.5hours until it lost stability. When I changed to the new settings it locked up after only 10 minutes. Any other suggestions?

Try testing them individually, you may have a bad stick. Always manually configure settings, AUTO is not optimal at all. You can also download memtest to test specifically.

If no bad sticks may want to up the vCore a bit, the CPU may not have enough juice for the MC to drive the sticks

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:

            another setting?

            Hello!

            Your settings:

            CAS 8t
            RAS 8t
            Row Pre 8t
            Min RAS 21t

I purchased the same memory kit - the settings on them are 8-8-8-24 (2N) - I don't know if that matters or not, but my PC was not stable until I changed the timing...
