You wrote in your bios configuration for my ram/mb:
F3-16000CL9D-4GBTD + Gigabyte P55-UD3R BIOS settings
These settings will work for other DDR3-2000 memory packages as well.
Advanced CPU Features:
CPU Clock Ratio ................................ [16x]
Intel(R) Turbo Boost Tech .................. [Disabled]
CPU Cores Enabled ............................ [All]
CPU Multi Threading .......................... [Enabled]
C3/C6/C7 State Support ................... [Auto]
CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E) ................... [Auto]
C3/C6/C7 State Support .................... [Auto]
CPU Thermal Monitor ......................... [Auto]
CPU EIST Function ............................ [Disabled]
Virtualization Technology ................... [Disabled]
Bi-Directional PROCHOT ..................... [Auto]
My question is why do you have that stuff disabled? Are those not beneficial say with an i5 system? Just trying to understand why you would recommend to disable them.
