  • (2x4GB) RipjawsX DDR3 1866MHz

    My motherboard is MSI 970 gaming and proccesor is AMD FX x6 6300.

    Rams are perfectly working but at 1600 mhz , i looked forum but cant find how to change to 1866Mhz. Also i am not sure of changing something .

    1 ) what should i do for 1866 MHz
    2 ) Whatever i do , is it overclocking ? And will my computers tempature rise ?

    and one more question if i want more ram at future. Should i buy one more 2x4gb or a new 2x8gb

    It's not exactly overclocking, but it is higher than standard. CPU temp can be slightly higher but that is no problem even for factory CPU cooler.

    It is always best to use a single kit of RAM in each computer, so for future upgrade it is best to use a single 2 x 8GB kit.
