      Hi again,

I just wanted to follow up, in case anyone still had this case lingering in their "unresolved" box. The most-recently suggested RAM kit was successful - it appears that the single- vs. double-sided configuration was at fault.

I realize it's not really industry standard, but as a customer I wish there were an easier way to find this information. It's not listed on any standard spec sheet, and even if I had known this was the issue it would be hard to determine based on the available product information. With products such as the Ripjaws series that have cool heat sinks, it is pretty much impossible for the uninitiated to tell the physical configuration until you get the package and look under the hood - especially since in this case, the product line has undergone a configuration change recently.

At any rate, I appreciate all of your hard work in helping me track down and resolve this issue. Thanks!
