Asus Sabertooth Z87 won't detect more than 8 gb 1333mhz ram from F3-2133C11Q-32zlr

I have an Asus Sabertooth Z87 with an Intel i7-4770k. In the user manual for the Z87, the model F3-2133C11Q-32GZL is shown as compatible 32gb memory.

Whenever I place more than 1 memory stick in the motherboard, the red light shows and the computer will not boot. The computer will only boot if there is only a single memory stick. Additionally, it only detects the memory to 1333MHz and not 2133mhz.

Please help!

Might check for a BIOS update, and enable XMP select the 2133 profile 1
