Asus Z87-PRO + F3-2400C10D-16GTX

Simple question really I'm looking at getting a Asus Z87-PRO and seen F3-2400C10D-16GTX is shown on the QVL.. BUT .. according to Asus this would be in the OCing zone. I however I have no interest in OCing. So will this still work without OCing.

Yes, will require a CPU OC to run at 2400, slight but still there. What CPU, with a K it's prob what you would hit under turbo-boost
