Hi Everyone,
Setup
MOB - ASUS P8Z77-V LK
CPU - Intel Core i5-3570K
RAM - G.SKILL Sniper Series Model F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231460
So I'm just hoping to confirm my theory that I have 1 dead RAM stick that needs to be RMA'd.
Problem : I have been exerpiencing various BSOD for about 2 weeks where 4 out of 5 boot attempts would fail due to various BSOD. I finally got a chance to run Memtest86+ tonight and it failed miserably. Pulled out the sticks to isolate which one and change slots and still one stick continues to fail Memtest.
So my question is, is there any further troubleshooting I need to do to confirm a faulty RAM stick before sending in an RMA? Also, do I need to send in the RAM sticks as a set like they were purchased or seperately since they were receieved in separate packaging?
Thank you for your time.
