Has anyone been able to get this memory to work in this board?

I have tried xmp, both profiles and manually setting the timings/voltage...nothing seems to work. Windows wont boot... tried single chip vs both, moved between slots...

Tried underclocking them at 1600 and 1333, no dice.

Ended up having to put my old ripjaws 2x4 1333's in.. works fine.

Used with an i5 3570k, mild overclock to 4ghz, but planning on at least 4.2

Do i need to use a higher memory voltage than 1.5?

Check that you have the latest BIOS...if so, might run Memtest on each stick individually (maybe 4-5 passes should suffice)

      Resolved

Resolved the issue.. raised the memory voltage to 1.55 and stable now... though.. not sure why gskill would label it 1.5v if it needs more....

      Thanks

May not be the sticks, many mobos don't regulate voltage correctly, many BIOS don't set up things correctly to the XMP parameters in the SPD of the sticks, CPU could have a weak MC (memory controller), etc. There's a number of reasons a set of sticks might require slightly higher voltage than spec
