Need help with rams

hi , built a pc with the board asrock 970 pro3 , the cpu is a amd fx-6100 and the rams are
GSKILL KIT 4GB DDR3 1600MHZ RIPJAW X (CL9 - 1.5V) , now the pc is randomly freezyng and i runned cpu-z and saw that they are at 655 mhz i think that might be related to the freezing, could you guys say what i need to change in the bios? me not beeing a pro in the matter

Sounds like the sticks are running at the mobo default or trying to, go into the BIOS set the DRAM freq to 1600, the base timings to the spec on the sticks/package, same with the DRAM voltage (don't have any idea what actual set you have, and set CR (Command rate/timing) at 2N or 2T *whichever designator it uses the T or the N
