  • F3-1600C10D-16GSQ on a 2011 and 2012 Mac

I know G.SKILL sells a line of Mac certified RAM. I also know that this product wasn't available when the mid 2012 MBPros were sold so owners turned to the F3-1600C10D-16GSQ and found it worked with the Apple notebook.

My question is, has anyone tried using this specific SO-DIMM on the following Macs listed below?

    Early 2011 MBPro
    Mid 2011 Mac mini
    Late 2011 MBPro
    Mid 2012 MBPro
    Late 2012 iMac

On some Macs that were designed to run on DDR3-1333MHz report that they are running as DDR3-1600MHz with 1600MHz parts.
