  • Two different RAM modules - HELP

    Hey

    ASUS M4A89GTD PRO
    F3-10600CL9D-4GBNS 2?2GB ddr3 1333MHz (old ram)
    F3-10666CL9D-8GBSR 2?4GB ddr3 1333MHz Sniper series (new one that I bought)

    There are 4 DIM, black-blue-black-blue

    questions:

1)- can I use all 4 modules ? like... I put sniper series into same color ( black-black ) and I put the old one's into other (blue-blue)
2)- should I use only the new ?
3)- if the step 1) is true/the way... how does it work, because I dont want that my pc would use the old RAM modules instead of the new, better sniper modules...and how could I make RAMdisk ONLY of the 2?2GB modules(old one's)?

Sry for my english, I hope for answers and suggesions...
Sry for my low knowledge of RAM's

    THX in forward!

Try with the new sticks in slots 1-3 from the CPU, the old in 2-4, will prob have to add about + 0.05 to the DRAM voltage and may have to add about + 0.10 to the CPU/NB (your MC (Memory Controller)) voltage, manually set the timings and have the CR (Command Rate/Timing) at 2N or 2T (depending on if it uses the T or the N designator) and let us know what happens

Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
