Compatibility Sniper PC14900 and GA-P55A-UD3

Hello,

I have a MB Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3 I plan to upgrade with Sniper F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR.
On the web page of that memory my MB is not in the lis of certified MB, but the search of
DDR3 compatible with the GA-P55A-UD3 report the Sniper F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR as compatible .

Is anyone knowing the right answer?

Yes they will be fine, QVLs are basically made up from DRAM the manufacturers have available. Same with the DRAM manufacturers, they test a sampling with the mobos they have available and depending on the amount of time available. Might look at my info thread here:
