I purchased an 8 GB set of F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL ram and installed it on my ASRock Z75 Pro3. I'm able to boot with the sticks on stock speeds, but when I try to enable XMP 1.3 I can no longer boot. I've tried manually setting the timings and voltage (11-11-11-30 1.5~1.7V) and adjusting DRAM Frequency to 2133, but it still doesn't boot. I've tried this both with my CPU on stock speeds and overclocked.
Oddly enough though, if I turn on XMP 1.3 and set the DRAM Frequency to 2000 it works just fine, but it sets the DRAM voltage to 1.615 V. CPU-Z even shows the speeds clocked up to 1000 MHz. I'm just hoping to get that last bit of umph out of the sticks if possible, but I'm a noob to overclocking memory so I could use some help.
Specs:
Motherboard: ASRock Z75 Pro3 with newest 1.50 BIOS (Tried initial 1.40 as well)
Memory: F3-17000CL11D-8GBXL (Only one kit installed, no others)
CPU: Intel i5 3450 (3.1 GHz) Ivy Bridge (Tried on stock 3.1 GHz and OC to 3.9 GHz)
Thanks for any help!
