  • Build and Compatibility Question

    I was wondering if the following are compatible:

    * G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory
    * Biostar TZ77XE4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

    I would like at least 16 GB at 2400 or higher. There are no kits listed on your configurator for this board that match this. The build I'm going for is as a follows and I would also appreciate any suggestions if people think there might be a better set up to go with. This is my first time setting up from scratch and not just cannibalizing/upgrading a prefab system.

    CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($215.99 @ NCIX US)
    Motherboard: Biostar TZ77XE4 ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($129.99 @ Amazon)
    Memory: G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory ($154.99 @ Newegg)
    Storage: Samsung 830 Series 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($218.26 @ Amazon)
    Storage: Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($129.99 @ NCIX US)
    Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card ($359.99 @ NCIX US)
    Case: Lian-Li PC-C32B USB3.0 HTPC Case ($144.00 @ Newegg)
    Power Supply: SeaSonic X Series 850W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($166.29 @ Newegg)
    Total: $1519.50

    Thank you all!

    Yes, should be fine, keep in mind it will require an OC of the CPU to run at 2400

    Pls offer comments on support I provide, HERE, in order to help me do a better job here:
