Yea, sounds like the CPU can't do it. Based on our testing, only <15% of our sample i5-3570Ks were capable of DDR3-2400, so it's not uncommon. This is why we must recommend i7-3770K for DDR3-2400.

It's all good I saved good money by going with the i5 so I can deal with 2133

2133 is good, I kicked up to 2400 also, but you really see very little difference other than memory intensive work
