  • Problem with F3-10600CK9D-8GBSQ

    So, I purchased a 8GB RAM set (F3-10600CL9d-8GBSQ) rated to operate at PC3-10600 9-9-9-24 on a ASUS U43Jc laptop, it's chipset is HM55 on a Core i5 CPU.

    My issue is, that my system responses slow, after upgrading to this RAM kit from the OEM RAM (4GB PC-10600 CL9). When booting up cold it use to take about 3 mins, now 5+ mins, tried playing RedAlert 3 Uprising, and the program runs as if there aren't enough system resources to run the game (but it ran fine, on 4GB).

    What am I doing wrong, so that the system is running slower than before?

    Might check w/ Asus for a BIOS upgrade, believe the chipset can handle 8GB, problem may be they don't have the bIOS set up to effectively, in the specs on that laptop they show a total of 4GB as the maximum, as shown here on the spec page:
