Quick question here. Can you forsee any problems with a set of Sniper Series F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR with a ASUS Crosshair V Formula AM3+ AMD 990FX and a X4 960t? I did do some research on my own and everything points to no problems....just need an expert second opinion. Thanks

For 1866 I'd recommend an FX series CPU, preferably the 8120 or 8150.....generally I lean to a min of a 965 Rev C to run 1600

I can manage 1600 on my 965BE + M4A89GTD Pro USB3, but 1866 may be a stretch. Worst case senario you run the ram at 1600 (or 1333) until you get the 8150

sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you..I installed the F3-14900CL9D-8GBSR in my crosshair v formula and it runs native at 1600! I have bumped that up to 1760 with no problems! Cant wait til I upgrade my cpu to really oc these sticks! Thanks again for all the help! Until next time..take care

Well it's been some time! I got the fx-8350 oc to 4.6 and those F3-14900CL9-4GBSR oc to a whopping 2133!! It's late and I'm on my phone so I'll post timings and such later. Night!
